Fifth Grade
Welcome to 5th Grade at Riverside!
We are Mrs. Ferris (left) and Miss Beck (right), your fifth-grade teachers. We have both been teaching at Riverside Elementary for 10+ years and absolutely love it. We teach together, and our classes rotate through different subjects. Students start the day in our homerooms, and then rotate for different subjects. Mrs. Ferris teaches math, and Miss Beck teaches writing, science, and social studies. We both teach reading to our homerooms as well. We love helping students learn, grow, and build the confidence and skills they need to successfully transition to middle school. We have so much fun learning in 5th grade and look forward to another successful school year!
